General requirements
Eligibility criteria
In order to be eligible, candidate:
- must be a national of one of the eligible countries
- must have not resided nor have carried out your main activity (studies, work, etc) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in one of the European countries.
- must have not already benefited from one mobility activity within the EMMA project.
Specific requirements for Staff and Administrative
Additional eligibility criteria
In order to be eligible, academic and administrative staff:
- Must work in or be associated to an Asain partner institution;
- The home and host universities and the individual staff must agree on the programme of lectures to be delivered by the visiting staff, on the research activities or on the type of training to be followed.
Objectives of Staff Mobility
- contribute to strengthen international co-operation capacity of higher education institutions in third countries, with the production of new teaching material, as well as their management capacity.
- provide academic staff with opportunities for professional and personal development
- encourage both universities to broaden and enrich the range and content of courses they offer
- allow students to benefit from the knowledge and expertise of academic staff from universities in participating in the partnership
- consolidate and extend links between departments and faculties and to prepare for future cooperation projects between the universities.
- promote exchange of expertise and experience on pedagogical methods
- prepare future regular exchanges of students and long-term recognition of studies between both institutions.
- lead to progresses in the application of ECTS or other systems for recognition of studies in the partner institution.
Duration and financial conditions
The duration of a Staff mobility is of one month. The programme cover the travel expenses, the costs for getting visa, the subsistence costs (grant of € 2 500) and insurance costs (health, travel, accident).
Eligible countries
Eligible countries are: Afghanistan, Bhutan, Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Maldives, Philippines, Thailand, China, North Korea.
